    Fire protection for ductwork applications and for cable and service enclosures.

    52mm PROMATECT®-L500
    is a non-combustible low density calcium silicate board used for the construction of self supporting ducts, over cladding of steel ducts and for cable and service enclosures offering high levels of fire performance, moisture resistance and low levels of air leakage.

    52mm Promat Boards can also be used to provide fire protection to ensure that critical cables remain functioning in a fire situation.

    Fields of application

    Execution of self-supporting ventilation channels, smoke and heat extract ducts, cladding of ventilation channels made of steel sheet. PROMATECT®-L500 has the following intended uses (according to EAD 350142-00-1106): internal use (type Z2) and internal use in high humidity conditions (type Z1).
