Knauf Wallboard is a plasterboard with an ivory paper face, ideally suited to receive a plaster finish, or for direct decoration. Strong, versatile, and good value, Knauf Plasterboards have a conductivity figure of k = 0.16 W/mK. Knauf Wallboard complies fully with BS EN520 and is categorised as Type A.
- Standard gypsum board for general application where basic fire, structural and acoustic levels are required.
- Suitable for direct decoration or plaster finish.
- Cost effective choice for partitions, linings and ceilings.
- Plasterboard is good for cutting down noise transmission particularly airborne sounds such as speech and music.

Composition/Information on ingredients
-Plasterboard and cove comprise in general of a core of calcium sulphate dihydrate encased in paper liners. Minor additives include starch, foaming agents and dispersants.
-Moisture resistant plasterboards and Core Board contain a silicone additive.
-Fire resistant plasterboards and Core Board include small quantities of glass fibre and vermiculite.
-Foil-Backed plasterboards are backed with a metalised polyester film.
-Safeboard contains barites. The core is also a yellow coloured composition.
